2024 Get into Maritime Certificate 1 Maritime Operations General Purpose Hand TAFE Course

At the beginning of October our third cohort of Get into Maritime students commenced their course in partnership with TAFE NSW, Sea Heritage Foundation and the Kings Trust Australia. This years cohort of 9 students have come from around Sydney.

This years course has been able to experience a wide cross section of the maritime industry with participation from SERCO Defence Maritime Services, Thales, the Royal Australian Navy and the National Maritime Museum. With a diverse background of ages and experience all students worked hard during the 3 months program graduating at the National Maritime Museum in Darling Harbour on Wednesday 11th of December.
