Indigenous Advisory Committee
Providing governance and oversight, the Sea Heritage Foundation Board has formed an Indigenous Advisory Committee. This committee comprises leading professionals in Indigenous affairs, maritime, education, business/finance, and the veteran community. Who help guide our strategic endeavours to create social and economic change by working with industry and Government stakeholders. We are honoured to welcome the following five professionals to the committee:
Ms. Larissa Behrendt OA, FASSA, FAAL, Distinguished Professor, Chair of Indigenous Research, Director of Research and Academic Programs Jumbunna Institute for Indigenous Education & Research, University of Technology Sydney.
Mr. Matthew Jones, MBA, CA – Businessman, Chartered Accountant & Indigenous engagement professional (navy veteran).
Mr. Ron Jones – Construction Industry, education & Indigenous engagement professional.
Mr. Glenn Richi – Maritime professional, Indigenous engagement mentor (navy veteran)
Capt. Ryan Cobb - Master Mariner. Ryan became Australia's first Indigenous Master Mariner and is now Australia's first Indigenous LNG Tanker pilot.
